Princess Margaret,was the younger daughter of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and the only sibling of Queen Elizabeth II.
Antony Armstrong-Jones (later to become Earl of Snowdon) was the only son of the marriage of the barrister Ronald Armstrong-Jones (1899–1966) and his first wife Anne Messel
(On 19 September 1935, Anne married for secondly to Michael Parsons, 6th Earl of Rosse, with whom she had two more sons, Brendan and Martin)
In 1960, Margaret accepted the proposal of the photographer Armstrong-Jones & the couple had two children; David Albert Charles Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley, born 3rd Nov 1961, and Lady Sarah, 1st May 1964
On 8 October 1993, David, Viscount Linley married the Hon. Serena Stanhope (born 1970) who was daughter of Charles Henry Leicester Stanhope (later 12th Earl Of Harrington) at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster.
Serena’s brother is William Henry Leicester Stanhope, Viscount Petersham (born 14 Oct 1967), who is married to the former chanel model Candida Bond, and has issue, one son, Hon. Augustus Stanhope, a Page of Honour [1] and one daughter. They live at their Scottish estate, Crimonmogate
