Actress Jane Fonda has revealed she is a rape survivor and suffered sexual abuse as a child.
The two-time Oscar-winner said she was also fired once because she refused to have sex with her boss.
Jane, 79, made the revelations in an interview with Academy Award-winning actress Brie Larson to mark International Women’s Day on March 8.
She told The Edit magazine: “To show you the extent to which a patriarchy takes a toll on females, I’ve been raped, I’ve been sexually abused as a child and I’ve been fired because I wouldn’t sleep with my boss and I always thought it was my fault – that I didn’t do or say the right thing.
“I know young girls who’ve been raped and didn’t even know it was rape. They think, ‘It must have been because I said no the wrong way’.
“One of the great things the women’s movement has done is to make us realise that (rape and abuse is) not our fault. We were violated and it’s not right.”
Barbarella star Jane also spoke about her regrets as a mother to three children – Vanessa, Troy and Mary.
She told The Edit: “I regret that I wasn’t a better parent.
“I didn’t know how to do it. But you can learn, so I studied how to be a parent.
“It’s never too late. I am trying to make up for what I didn’t know before.
“When I die, I want my family to be around me. I want them to love me and I have to earn that. I’m still working at it.”
Jane, who became an activist aged 31 to oppose the Vietnam War, voiced concerns that a Hollywood “blacklist” could return.
She said: “When I found out what was really happening in Vietnam I didn’t care if I ever worked again. I considered leaving the business to become a full-time activist.
“My father was terrified for me. He remembered the 50s when people’s careers were destroyed.
“It’s possible the (Hollywood) blacklist will be brought back.”

Jane was smokin hot in Barbarella. But she is very confuse on the matter of rape. Patriarchy does not allow rape, unless you are referring to a man’s right to his wife. A wife could never charge her husband with raps. She was his property. I know that is hated concept. But other than that. Rape, especially of employees or children is not part of patriarchy, but most women do have it in for patriarchy. Sad that they don’t realize what the NWO elite have planned for them, come this next big war. The elite are trying to make men damned good and mad. A war will approach, and a surprise sudden draft will become mandatory for women up to whatever it is, 40 or 45 or whatever. They might even drop the age down to 17 or even 16. And with the war, they will suggest to women that they had it good, and were even favored and did not mind slighting men in their favor and now its time to pay them back, by “boosting their moral and “raising their spirits and motivation, by accommodating the soldiers sexually. Either that or sent to the front lines or an exchange take place between enemy camps and theirs, woman for woman, which means endless rape of foreign soldiers who will not be very considerate. Or they just might force the women to submit to the new assignment, like those do who capture women who are then beaten and raped till they give up and submit to being whores.
Satan has long wanted to break women of their “choosiness” or Fussiness and just pass themselves around as they do in Satanic cults. The devil wants to change the entire world.
I have always been against women in the military. I M not in favor of making women tough hard cookies who are more like men than women. shelter women so that they can remain nice and pleasant. I’m against all war, anyway. But no one see this coming, save 1 or 2. But it will be here soon enough and then maybe women will reconsider just how great their “liberation” really is. My fear is that the women now past prime and not wanted, will not have to pick up the tab. It is the young women who will have to bear the cost of the bias again men these many years, in law and courts. Only time will tell but its nearly here. We just need the war. It will happen. Carve it in stone. A real patriarchy man would never dream of raping or beating a woman. That is for nuts and wackos. Jane is a misled lady who promotes the very things that will get young women in trouble soon enough. Their savage harm will be on her hands and others like her talking nonsense.
My warning to all ladies till young enough. Do not go to war, even if it means prison or prison camps. That will be better than being raped or forced into prostitution. Thank about it.
