HE’S SURVIVED five attempts on his life but Ross Sherlock can’t escape his gangland past after police swooped on his family home at dawn
Police swooped on his £439,000 house during an operation on Thursday.
Officers searched the property in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, after obtaining a warrant.
A source said: “The street was swarming with police. Both uniformed and CID officers were there for ages.”
Police refused to confirm the reason for the raid but Sherlock has been strongly linked to organised crime for more than a decade.
He was a close associate of Daniel gang enforcer Kevin “Gerbil” Carroll, who was murdered in 2010, and has been shot at five times.
Sherlock, 34, survived an attempt on his life last September.
A gunman shot him as he picked up his daughter from school.
Last year, a rival gang accused Sherlock of stealing £2million of drug money from a house in Glasgow’s Castlemilk.
He was attacked in Princes Square shopping mall in the city by a group of men who blamed him for the theft.
Police Scotland said: “Officers searched a house in Bishopbriggs as part of a planned operation
” No arrests were made and inquiries are continuing.” dailyrecord
